Cinnamon quills are a higher quality, more aromatic part of the plant than cinnamon bark (but quite different to Cassia). Cinnamon can be roasted, ground and then used as powder in fruit dishes and desserts or in Middle-Eastern dishes. Use whole quills to flavour coffee or other drinks. |
